We want to invite you to attend our 2º Human Genetic Symposium (HGS 2022) - The future of Genetics in Angola - which will take place at the Complexo Hospitalar de Doenças Cardio-Pulmonares Cardeal Dom Alexandre do Nascimento in Luanda, Angola, on July 13 and 14 2022.
National and international guests, experts in Genetics, Genomics and Molecular Biology, entities and public figures linked to academia, health, and social development will have the opportunity to discuss data, strategies, and social, scientific, and academic projects that will connect the problems of the present to the solutions available for the Genetics and Genomic technologies in Angola.
Our scientific program will cover a wide range of human genetics and genomics topics to share the most up-to-date research trends, results, information, and databases, which often sparks new collaboration opportunities.
The event is supported and is part of the scientific agenda of the ICGEB (International Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology). It will take place in a hybrid model, in-person and online, and it is estimated that more than 200 people will participate.
HGS 2022 will have, with your help, a fascinating program and social events. We plan to create a memorable, and extraordinary conference meeting in Luanda, considered the city that enchants with contagious and vibrant energy; a destination for those looking for beach, nature, adventure and fun. We look forward to welcoming all participants who come to Luanda for a new or renewed experience.
Other activities: On July 12, 2022, the Medical School, Universidade A. Neto -Luanda, Angola will host a Trainee Symposium. Graduate students and post-doctoral fellows are invited to present their research. Slots at the Meeting will be saved for the best talks.
